TikTok Killed the Instagram Influencer

I couldn’t quite put my finger on why TikTok started to become the new favourite social app when it first arrived.

I figured Snapchat would takeover the Zillenials as their platform of choice.

I’ve written about TikTok before but I never thought that TikTok would become this crazed.

I’ve been quite active on the platform and making my own TikTok videos.

I’ve found videos on the platform are:

  1. Easier to create — I can create 5 TikToks in a day if I’m creative enough and you don’t need any fancy equipment to do so.
  2. More Accepting — You don’t need to have perfect hair, makeup, studio lighting in order to get your message across.
  3. Celebrates Uniqueness — you can have your very own voice become a sensation overnight where users can use your content to add onto theirs.

It’s also easier to grow on TikTok than Instagram right now because it is less saturated.

Instagram has become a black hole or “mish mash” of posts, stories, shopping tabs and “reels”, made to compete with TikTok.
