Do you know what clubhouse is?

“You mean the spice company?” asked my husband.

I kept hearing about this new app: Clubhouse. No not the spice company.

I had no idea what this new platform was about until someone on my Facebook newsfeed posted that they had two exclusive invites.

There’s a new app in town ready to shake up social media as we know it…but it’s inaccessible.

The App was created by Paul Davison, a former employee of Pinterest and Rohan Seth, former at Google.

Both live and work in Silicon Valley and appear to be product engineers according to their LinkedIn profiles.

The Clubhouse app is so exclusive only the 0.5% have been invited to experience it.

Except, we’re not seeing the same “balls to the wall” type of marketing that newer social media platforms strive for.

There are only 1,500 users and has been evaluated at $100 million.

Enter high power tech C-suite execs and some celebrities such as MC Hammer, Kevin Hart and Jared Leto.

Add in discussion about tech, the world we see ourselves in now and sprinkle in some celeb commentary and you’ve got yourself the newest social audio platform.
